Here is my sharing tips on how to maintain the printer maintenance or printer according to my personal experience, in particular inkjet printer that uses the Liquid Ink:
1. Use the printer periodically and regularly. Do not let the printer is "idle" in a long time. Every day or every other day the printer must be used to print at least 2-3 sheets and ensure perfect print results. Try printing balanced in terms of color ... do not mean just black but the print text / image that contains elements of black, red, yellow and blue (the colors) so it is expected that all Head worked all. It aims to keep the ink on the print head from drying / clot.
2. Do not let Cartridges / Ink Tank empty in a long time. When the ink cartridge immediately began to fill empty / depleted.
3. In doing refill / refile especially when removing the cartridge, avoid touching the pin CMOS (marked with a cross in the palm of the hand). Pin is very sensitive (can be damaged) due to static electricity that comes from our bodies.
4. Use the same brand ink refill / refile. Even if different make sure the ink on cardtridge has totally empty / depleted. This is to avoid the clumping reaction of the ink due to different brands of ink that the ink can clog the holes on the Head. This is usually often forgotten in the printer maintenance tips.
5. When printing use paper that is clean and still "feasible" means no faded or "lungset" because of the shabby paper can cause jams / stops printing or "mbulet" due to a slip of paper on the printer rollers. In addition, dusty paper can cause dust stuck to the Head.
6. Clean the printer is dirty use a brush or wipe with a cloth. Special sections in use a small brush to be able to achieve the sidelines difficult. When cleaning make sure the printer is turned OFF or Dead total (power cable disconnected).
7. Use the printer cover to be protected from dust. You can close it tightly with a cloth so that there is still air exchange. Do not use the cover (closed meetings) with plastic because moist air can accelerate damage to the printer.
8. If your printer is often used (usually for business) often do not turn the printer on each out ngeprint ... let the printer stays on. This is to minimize Over the Limit Counter Hit Counter BIOS. All printers have a limited number of prints (on average 2000 times). Everytime we turn on the printer then the Counter will increase (considered a time to print). Imagine if during work hours (eg 8 hours) we turn off and turn on the printer up to 10 times or 20 times ....?!! then it will speed us to do RESET Counter on our printer BIOS.
9. Do not be too often print images / text that dipertebal or Fill with a high density because it will aggravate the Head that automatically shorten Head.
10. Special printers that use Infusion, Infusion Ink Tank ... Put the parallel (rather low bit) with Cartridge. This is to ensure that the ink does not flow directly to the printer Catridge when not in use.
11. Clean / wash the foam / sponge vacuum in the ink is at the printer at least once a year or when deemed hisapnya power began to weaken. Usually characterized by ineffectiveness Process Head Cleaning or there luberan ink inside the printer. If it is allowed can be harmful to electronic circuits / mechanical printers.
